Appreciating the Inner Child; Raising the Outer

Raising children is one of the most difficult blessings you can have the opportunity to share. It is filled with wonder, amazement, beauty and the most difficult challenges you will ever encounter. The little minions never follow the directions given, acting out their britches, and getting grown before their time. All little reflections of what they see they absorb, and we hate to see reflections. We find looking at the crack in ourselves is the most difficult thing to do, acknowledging - admitting our mistakes. Yet, if we are to be better models and leaders for our children then we have to remember what do kids really need, what does your inner child really need? Find it, feed it and share those wonderful pieces with the world of adolescence around you.
